Regional Emergency Transportation Routes are defined as priority routes targeted during an emergency for rapid damage assessment and debris-clearance. They are used to facilitate life-saving and life-sustaining response activities, including the transport of first responders (e.g., police, fire and emergency medical services), fuel, essential supplies and patients.
On April 7, the RTC Board of Directors adopted an updated Regional Emergency Routes Network. The update of this regional network came as a result of partnership and collaboration between Clark County stakeholders, Portland Metro and the Regional Disaster Preparedness Organization.
