The RTC Board of Directors approved a one-time Surface Transportation Block Grant (STBG) bonus of $250,000 for three construction projects in Clark County: C-TRAN’s Highway 99 Bus Rapid Transit, Vancouver’s NE 18th Street - NE 97th Ave. to NE 107th Ave., and the Washington State Department of Transportation’s (WSDOT) SR 500/I-5 at 39th St - Corridor Connection projects.
The one-time STBG grant award was approved to help the region better meet its federal funding regional obligation target for 2026. The project funding is immediately available for the 3 agencies to utilize and must be obligated by June of 2026. More information can be found here (PDF 386KB).
