Description
Joint sharing and potential control of traffic signals, detectors, cameras, ramp meters, and dynamic message signs has long been occurring between WSDOT, local cities, and counties. The Joint Operations Center and the shared central signal system initiatives currently underway represent a more formalized implementation of joint operations and regional traffic control.
