Description
ODOT's Region 1 Transportation Management and Operations Center is located in downtown Portland, Oregon. ODOT and WSDOT share real–time transportation information to monitor and manage traffic operations between the two states in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. Real–time information is accomplished via a fiber optic communication. Information shared between the traffic operation centers includes: real–time, streaming video images, traffic flow data, shared ATMS data, major traffic incidents, etc.
