Roadway Traffic Gap Assist Functional Area
Description
'Roadway Traffic Gap Assist' measures the headway to the next approaching vehicle. Based on programmed thresholds, unsafe gaps are identified and reported via roadside signs. Traffic gaps and associated advisories and warnings are also provided to the RSE for communication to connected vehicles.
