Vancouver, Washington - The RTC has filed its 2014 Annual Report. The RTC deployed over $9.7 Million in seed capital funds, for regional transportation projects in Clark County, designed to upgrade the region’s signal, roadway, and transit networks. Major updates to the Regional Transportation Plans of Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat counties now provide a strategic outlook and inventory of critical infrastructure investments needed in the 3-county region spanning the next 20-years. In addition, the RTC filed periodic assessments of the Safety, Congestion, and Demographic conditions within Clark County.

Throughout 2014, the RTC relied on its extensive member and partner network to collaborate on and deliver comprehensive planning and grant funding services across the RTC’s service area. RTC Executive Director cites that, “2014 was one of the busiest years of total agency activity, and significant work lies ahead on funding the transportation infrastructure which is needed over the next decade to support the region’s population and economic development growth forecasts.” A downloadable copy of the 2014 Annual Report, with extensive hyperlink access to all of RTC’s 2014 work products, is now available online.
