Vancouver, WA – Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council (RTC) invites all public agencies, transit agencies, natural resource agencies, schools, and tribal governments in the Clark, Skamania, and Klickitat counties region to submit project applications for the federal Transportation Alternatives grants.  Grants are awarded to projects that expand travel choice, strengthen the local economy, improve quality of life, and protect the environment.  Many of the projects enhance nonmotorized forms of transportation, such as biking and walking.

Applicants should work with RTC staff to ensure that all federal and state requirements are met. Qualifying activities, program requirements, and other project information may be obtained at https://rtc.wa.gov/programs/tap/.

Applications will be due to RTC on Friday, April 30, 2021.
