Vancouver, Washington -- Tuesday, May 24, 2011, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., at the Clark County Public Service Center lobby, 1300 Franklin Street, Vancouver, Washington. The May 24 open house will provide information on the proposed update to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP). The Metropolitan Transportation Plan is the long-range transportation plan to meet forecast transportation needs in Clark County over the next twenty years. The timeline calls for a regional transportation plan update by the end of 2011. The May 24 open house will provide introductory information on the MTP update process, its vision, values and policies. Later in 2011, subsequent open houses will provide opportunities to review and comment on specific MTP update elements.
