Vancouver, Washington -- Wednesday, November 16, 2011, Open House from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., followed by Public Meeting from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., in the Columbia Room at the Vancouver Community Library, 901 C Street, Vancouver, Washington.

The November 16 open house will provide information on the proposed update to the Metropolitan Transportation Plan (MTP) for Clark County. The Metropolitan Transportation Plan is the long-range transportation plan to meet forecast transportation needs in Clark County to year 2035. The timeline calls for a regional transportation plan update by the end of 2011. The Open House will be followed by a public meeting. RTC staff will provide a presentation on the transportation plan�s update and public comments will be sought.

At the November 16 open house and public meeting, there will be opportunity to learn about the MTP update and plans for this region's transportation future.
